Grand Canyon Floor & Rim Landing Helicopter Tour

Amazing experience for our family of 5. We were picked up from our hotel and were the only ones for the short trip to the boulder airport. Check-in was quick and quiet and it wasn’t long before we were up in the air. Our pilot was great and provided us with loads of information about the area and the sights. The Grand Canyon was amazing, such a wonder and what a view from the helicopter. Return transfer was also quick with only 1 other hotel stop. Would definitely book again rather than the big operators. Thank you GC and 5 star, for the wonderful memories.

I’m extremely satisfied with not only our helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon but my overall experience with GC Flight. I made a bit of a mistake in my booking of this- I accidentally scheduled our flight a little too close to a timeshare meeting my husband and I had to attend. I called the company to see if there was anything they could do such as scheduling us to a later flight time but unfortunately they could not, which is fine, but they assisted me the best they could which I’m entirely grateful for. The manager gave me a call to work out a timeline in which if we could stick to it we would arrive in time. Thankfully we managed to make it all work. Our pilot was Kyley- she was so fun and did her job well! The winds were fairly strong that day but we would have never known! I would HIGHLY recommend GC Flight!

Easy check in and transportation to Heliport from Vegas. Our Pilot Kyley was awesome!! Very informative, smooth flight, great music playlist. Landed in the Canyon and had champagne & snack. Got a good amount of time for photos. Definitely a first class operation! We had wanted to "go see" the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam for a few years and this is the way to do it!

Highly recommend! I did a 90 minute flight from Las Vegas to the Grand canyon, including flying through the canyon. The views are stunning and a truly unique way to see the grand canyon. The pilot gave really interesting commentary throughout the flight. The entire tour was professional.

I surprised the wife with a trip up the Grand Canyon, and both of us rate it as one of the best experiences of our lives. Riding in an helicopter was on her bucket list, seeing Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon this way made it the more memorable. The pilot was very knowlegable about the history and region, and the excellent noise-cancelling headphones made hearing him very easy. We plan to go back and enjoy the canyon floor flight next year.

The flight was magnificent! The view is breathtaking! The pilots were very skilled . We landed in a very harsh side wind with no problems!

Everything was first class. Nice crew running things. Never felt belittled by not knowing where to go and do. They made it all pretty clear. Our pilot was awesome too. I can’t remember her name but you can’t miss her. Never seen a heli pilot that pretty. Don’t let the looks fool you. She can fly that bird as well as anyone. Would definitely use them again!!

I wanted to set up a surprise for my husband and initially was hesitant because of cost. DON'T BACK OFF BECAUSE OF $!! It was an amazing experience for both of us. The value you get from the professionalism, time spent and what you get to do being in a helicopter are more of an investment than a cost. Also...we did the additional $100 upgrade to sit in the front....priceless!! Thank you and we will be back to do again with whole family.

After another local tour company was very rude about my weight I looked into other options and found these beautiful people. Empathetic and very accommodating about my size (415 pounds) and extremely professional across the board. Bucket list experience in an efficient time frame. From beginning to end, the customer service was great. My friend and I booked separately because she lives in Georgia but we wanted to fly together. They made sure that once I booked after she did that our reservations were linked and we would fly together.The driver that picked us up from the hotel was prompt and friendly. A photographer was there to take photos of us with the pilot and helicopter. The pilot was amazing! He told us step by step what to expect. He was very knowledgable of the area, giving us information about the land formations and interest points of the area. Once we landed, there were pictures we could purchase and free beverages of our choice. I will do it again!

The pilot was awesome. The tour was awesome. Recommendations for improvements below:May already be an option, but the helicopter is super cramped, so should allow for purchasing multiple seats to allow more space between occupants. Additionally, the occupants sitting in the middle, back should only only have to pay 80% of what those pay for back window seats and front seats because you just can't see everything and not as well.

Oh my this made my husband so happy. I upgraded to the front seat and it was worth every penny! A beautiful experience. Especially to see the lights of the strip at night. Highly recommend.

Absolute must if you are in Vegas and want to see the Grand Canyon!Awesome experience! We paid for a 45 min ride to the Grand Canyon, where you land and have champagne and snacks in the Canyon base, then fly back 45 mins and get to see Vegas.Service was top notch. Picked up in a stretch limo to take us to the airport. From there we had an amazing helicopter pilot who told us facts and played music during the ride. Definitely recommend this!

Awesome experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see the Grand Canyon but on a tight time schedule. Fair warning, you don't actually see the most beautiful part of the Grand Canyon because I don't think helicopter landings are allowed there in the National Park. But it's still a great time.

I think this was the best part of our trip! The view from the helicopter was amazing. The pilot was very informative and professional. He flew us over Boulder City, the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Grand Canyon, and the Las Vegas Strip. Everything we wanted to see in a reasonable amount of time. It was awesome. This flight from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon was absolutely incredible, especially with the canyon floor landing. The views were so beautiful that I was speechless the entire time and even teared up.Dylan was an outstanding pilot. He was skilled, personable, and genuinely funny, which made the experience even more memorable. His music playlist was also spot on and added so much to the trip.If you’re considering booking with this company, do it. You will not regret it. My only disappointment is that I didn’t do this sooner.

It was our first time in a helicopter and we had a great flight. Our pilot was friendly and helped make the trip fun and educational. I would definately recommend this trip to anyone that is considering it. This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas.

Armando was an excellent pilot and guide. 5 of the passengers had never flown in a helicopter before, but he was flawless and very smooth. The picnic was a little short, but the experience is well worth it! Checkin was easy. No hidden fees.

Driver James picked us up at our designated hotel meeting spot on time, nice clean shuttle, friendly service and good tour on the way to Boulder City airport. GC hangar was modern and comfortable. Well run operation to get us prepared and boarded onto the helicopter. Our pilot, Christy, was awesome! What a rock star. We had an amazing tour for our 37th wedding anniversary! Our guide was kind, professional and dedicated to great customer service. The hoover dam, grand canyon and pass over of the strip were awesome!

First helicopter ride. Wasn't sure how it was going to be. The pilot was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The flight was GREAT and the views were amazing. I did the Grand Canyon Landing package and it was worth every dime. I would do it again. I highly recommend this to anyone. Don't be a "I wish I would have done this" person. DO IT!

We had such an amazing flight and experience, our pilot was amazing and his play list was on point 🙂 We will definitely be taking another flight with them on our next visit, it is so worth it!

We toured the grand canyon with GC flight and had a spectacular day and experience. We were picked up outside our Vegas strip hotel, taken to Boulder city airport where we boarded a propeller plane. We flew over lovely topography and landed on a reservation. We boarded a helicopter, which was an amazing treat for our kids and us, and flew right down into the canyon. We then boarded a pontoon boat and traveled about a mile up the Colorado river. We flew back to the rim and traveled by bus to various vantage points and vistas. The glass floor walkway over the canyon was included but not as amazing as I expected. That said, it was a wonderful day. I suggest bringing water and snacks as the day is a fast paced.

Had an amazing time on out flight into the Grand Canyon. Staff was super nice. Yes, its a bit pricy, but the experience and sights is spectacular. I would suggest to anyone going to Vegas.

We had an AMAZING experience. GC Flight was so helpful in getting us booked with 5 Star Helicopter Tours. We did the 2 hour Grand Canyon landing leaving Las Vegas. It was a beautiful helicopter ride over and a perfect amount of time to explore the Grand Canyon. Our pilot was very kind and informative. We decided it was cheaper to do this than book a separate trip to the Grand Canyon and we are so glad we did!! Very cool experience for both the children and adults! The only downfall was they stopped the Grand Canyon floor landing due to Covid. I couldn't figure out why that would be stopped but nothing else? Regardless, it was truly a 5 Star experience! We were very pleased

It was amazing. It was awesome service from pick up to drop off. Christie was my pilot. She was so good. There are so many different companies out there that provide the same type of service which made it hard to pick which company to choose. I asked some friends who were local... and unfortunately they had never been but suggested that I read the reviews. I think I read the reviews of all of the companies. GC Flight by far had the best reviews and now I know why! Everyone that worked for GC Flight that day had such a great attitude. From driver of the shuttle, the people that checked me in, and most importantly the pilot (Christie). I thought this was going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity but now I cannot wait to go back! Fantastic experience! Seamless. Booked online. Confirmation email. Transportation directly from our hotel. The tour time listed is from pick up to drop off. We were actually dropped off a little ahead of schedule which was nice. Did the canyon floor landing. The ride and the views are spectacular with no words to fully describe it. Easily the highlight of our trip. Travelling with 2 teenagers, it can be challenging to find something we all enjoy. The helicopter tour was such a great experience for all of us. It was informative, great tunes, our pilot was incredible. We all had a great time and lots of memories made.

The entire experience was seamless! From booking, to shuttle pick up, meeting the pilot and fellow passengers, landing etc. The service exceptional, the staff professional and friendly. The pilot made us feel safe and well looked after, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and hope to fly with them again in future. My friend and I did the red rock canyon tour within Vegas, if you want a longer and more breath taking experience, which maybe a little more expensive, I'd say do the grand canyon.

I booked this flight online with little research and went into it with a little hesitation. It was AMAZING! From the shuttle picking us up from the hotel, to the staff in the waiting area, and our amazing captain. Everything felt so safe and it made the experience very enjoyable. Our captain was awesome the whole experience was amazing. When I was booking this experience, someone commented “don’t think, just do it” and that is exactly what I was thinking the whole time. I would go back again in a heartbeat. Just do it!!

We were collected from our hotel by a super friendly driver, taken straight to the airfield and offered complimentary water.Our pilot Jordan was absolutely AMAZING and really made our trip memorable. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was about the area and our surroundings. He was able to comment on both the geographical landscape as well as the history of the area and the sites we could see. Jordan's positivity and enthusiasm was contagious and really added to the experience for us.We loved that Jordan was able to have a bit of fun of us - being able to laugh and joke on the flight made it even more fun. We were a little disappointed that Jordan forgot to bring his birthday crown with him to work on the day of our trip. Luckily we had a badge ready and Jordan was happy to officially 'badge' and honour our cousin's special day.We did a 4 hour tour which brought us across the Hoover Dam, landed on the Grand Canyon West Rim and included a visit to the "Sky Walk". There are many options to ride a helicopter from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. GC Flight was SO GREAT. They went out of their way to accommodate the time we wished to travel, and offered us an upgrade to the package where you land in the canyon before returning to LV. I highly recommend this option!!!! It was so amazing to get out of the helicopter in the canyon, take pics, have snacks & champagne (provided by the company) etc.Everyone we encountered, from the phone person making the appt, to the counter person at the airport, to the helicopter pilots were TOP NOTCH.I wished I had brought more cash to tip our pilots, as we thought we would all be in one helicopter, but ended up being in 2 which wasn't a problem except for the tip.Anyway... If you're hesitating about booking a helicopter trip. Stop thinking and just do it. It was AWESOME. Also, book over the phone instead of online. They were super helpful.

I had a very pleasant experience from the day we booked our tour to the moment we were dropped off. Austin was our pilot and was very kind to all of our needs and questions during the flight. The amount of time flying, the amount of time in the Valley of Fire, were ideal. Obviously we wanted more, yet valued every second. This has been our only experience flying the canyon and Las Vegas, and we can say that we will not be looking elsewhere for another trip in the future. I cannot think of a way to better the experience. All in all, we highly recommend this experience with GC Flight/ 5 Star.

Riding a helicopter through the Grand Canyon hit two of my bucket list items at once, and it was truly the most fun we’ve had in years! GC Flight did a great job. I highly recommend them— you won’t regret it.

From the time I called to set up our ride , to the time our ride was complete, GC Flight/Maverick was a TOTAL CLASS outfit to deal with!!!! Set up was simple, and two calls with questions leading up to the ride were all done by an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Then the flight. TRUELY AMAZING!!! GREAT PILOT!!! Smooth Flight, with the pilot making sure everything we were taking in , was explained along the way. Meeting others from around the world added even more to the adventure.(We are from Mass. and the other 4 guests, were retired grandparents w/their 2 grandsons from Australia). The Canyon- The Dam -The People - and The Champagne toast while on the ground in the canyon made for a memory that is in many pictures, but will never leave our minds. Knowing we would be visiting Las Vegas in Sept. , I promised my wife when we got married in June of this year, that this would be my wedding gift to her. This was the best gift, I could ever give to her and to myself.

This experience was BY FAR the most incredible adventure I’ve ever been on. Let me start by saying, my husband and I did the Grand Canyon tour with the Valley of Fire landing. I booked this as a surprise for my husband for our anniversary. It was worth every penny. I was nervous about how I’d feel in the helicopter, but the ride was smooth and enjoyable. Austin was our pilot and he did a fantastic job describing all of the small settlements, different facts about lake mead and the Grand Canyon and made great conversation. We found out that he is a fellow Purdue Grad! The landing in the Valley of Fire is the most mind blowing thing....it doesn’t even look real. We were given champagne at landing but had the option for soda or beer also, which was nice. Austin was nice enough to stay a little longer and we were able to watch the full moon rise over the mountains as the sun was setting. Flying through the Grand Canyon and over lake mead and the Hoover dam was incredible...you have a completely different perspective on all of it and it’s just beautiful. If you’re looking for an awesome adventure, book the tour and pray that Austin is your pilot. It will be the coolest experience you’ve ever had.Boiler up!

This trip was in celebration of my 60th birthday and I couldn’t have been more pleased. GC Flights was super easy to work with, so much so that they even accommodated a last minute request to change the day of our reservation so that we were guaranteed the best weather possible that weekend. Briac, our pilot, was super nice and informed. The flight was delightful. The shuttle service takes you to three interesting stops with plenty of buses running to pick and choose the length of time you spend at each. I suggest spending little time at the second stop (it’s a staged old western town like a movie set) to have more time at the last stop Guano Point. All six members of my party were thrilled with this outing.

The experience we had was flawless from start to finish. Our Pilot Jacob was professional, personable and a pleasure to be around. I can not say enough good things about the special experience we had! 10/10 Recommend.

My wife and I booked a flight out the Grand Canyom, with a return to Las Vegas around sunset, with GC Flight. From the moment we booked the excursion we were impressed with the reservation process and our pilot, Tucker. From the time we were picked up at our hotel the waiting time at the terminal was minimal, and we were off in no time! Tucker flew us out to Lake Mead, past Hoover Dam, and to our inner canyon landing site. Once on the ground, we explored the site, sipped Champaign, and were off for Vegas. We cannot thank Tucker and GC Flight for a memorable experience.i

My girlfriend Joanie and I booked a helicopter ride with GC Flight to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. This was a trip of a lifetime! When I booked I was scared to death but on the day of the flight I was so calm. It was awesome!!! Our Pilot Ray was fantastic and informative and made us all feel at ease. This trip was a surprise for my husband. He’s a cancer survivor and seeing the Grand Canyon was at the top of his bucket list. After reading many reviews I chose GC Flights helicopter tour. This was a top notch 5 star experience. Starting with Alex the shuttle driver (who instantly felt like an old friend) who gave us so much local information and recommendations for Las Vegas and a great overview of our Canyon tour. Then we met our pilot Brandon who was so friendly and nice! He was a very gracious host and had such interesting facts about the entire area. He must spend hours studying the area to have such details! A very professional guy. He gets 5 stars from us!Thank you to both Alex and Brandon for helping me give my husband memories he will never forget!

We had an amazing time! I don't remember our pilots name but I remember thinking wow he looks young. He told us that he'd been flying for 6 years. He was awesome and had lots of great information to tell about the areas we flew over. Also his playlist rocked!! I got married in Vegas and took the sunset tour the next day with my new wife. It exceeded my expectation. The pilot was very knowledgeable and we felt very safe in his hands as we flew over lake mead, the Hover dam and through the Grand Canon. We touched down in the Valley of Fire for a brief stop and then the sunset flight into the city was something I will remember for the rest of my life. Amazing experience. Highly recommended!

We booked a helicopter landing tour of the Grand Canyon with GC Flight. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.We were picked-up from our hotel at the designated time and taken to Boulder City Airstrip. On arrival we were given complimentary water, checked-in and given a safety briefing. About 20 mins after arrival we were introduced to our pilot. I can't remember his name but he was amazing and very friendly and informative. He eased any nerves we had about flying in a helicopter.The tour itself was great, it did what it said on the tin and we got to see all the sites. When we landed we had almost 2 hours to tour the 3 different viewing points on the West Side of the canyon. The time allotted at the Canyon was perfect, not too long nor too short. On return we flew over native American heartlands and thus is where the pilot was so informative.To finish, I would highly recommend GC Flights for your Grand Canyon experience.Oliver & Lorrsine

We booked the flight late by phone because of personal circumstances. Our call was answered promptly and we were able to get a flight over the Grand Canyon and a stop on Fire mountain. Admin was efficient with confirmation by WhatsApp and text. Pick up from the hotel was on time in a quality vehicle. Slick procedures at the airport and a great pilot. I would highly recommend the company.

Very well organized from start to finish. We had an excellent pilot. His name is Brandon. He explained all the safety features clearly before we started our flight. He was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and alerted us to what we were about to see as we approached the highlights so we wouldn't miss all the important details. We had three kids who continuously asked many questions while we were in the air and Brandon told them seriously and he answered ALL their questions. We were impressed and truly felt that he tried his very best to make sure we all had the best time possible. We highly recommend GC flight. It was indeed a trip of a life time !

I would highly recommend GC flights that was one of the best helicopter rides that had around Grand Canyon, Hoover dam, and the rest of the downtown strip within Las Vegas. This was my first time to see the Grand Canyon and ride in a Helicopter. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and informative of what we were seeing. The flight was smooth and we had a wonderful time. Well worth the money and I highly recommend this company! We were able to purchase a digital photo frame after we got back that also had a video on it. This is something everyone should do at least once in their life!

Highly recommend! We took the Vegas to GC Skywalk tour and had an amazing trip! The helicopters are comfortable, clean and well maintained. We had Tyler as our guide and he was personable and very informative! Wonderful experience.

I can not say enough good things about this! The booking was easy, transportation arrived right on time at our hotel. This is a marvelous experience that I would recommend to anyone! The scenery on the way to the Grand Canyon is breathtakingly beautiful. But what made this experience so special was our pilot JIMMY!!! He was absolutely fantastic. He has the best personality, super easy-going, very informative, and funny as can be. He talked to the entire entire flight, giving us history about all the different landmarks and scenery, but it wasn’t the type of talking that annoyed you, it was warm and silly, and made the flight extremely enjoyable! Very smooth flying with excellent landings. My one and only complaint would have to be transportation. The person who picked us up From our hotel, to take us to the airport in Boulder city, where our flight was drive like a maniac. Speeding and swerving in and out of lanes, abrupt braking to the point it made me car sick. He was friendly just not a good driver!

Amazing experience! The Flight was incredibly smooth. (had some people worried about motion sickness, not an issue at all.) This was a far better decision than spending our money on the strip.

We arranged our tour via Megan who was so amazing deal with and was piloted by Bethany, again amazing. We would highly recommend GC helicopter tours, fantastic team and tour company.

The flight to the Grand Canyon was wonderful. our pilot was very knowledgeable about the area and the sites. He was wonderful. The flight to the Grand Canyon is a memory to last a lifetime. We had an awesome time! We also got to walk around the canyon and alternated seats to and from the canyon. We flew over the Hoover dam. We had a fantastic time on our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon! GC flight was organized and professional and made the process of getting from our Vegas hotel to the airport and back again totally seamless. Our pilot was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! The whole experience was one of the most special things I've ever done.

Our pilot, Tannan, was awesome! He was professional, knowledgeable and really made our experience one we will never forget. We did the rim landing tour in the afternoon on Halloween - which I would highly recommend. Next time you are in Las Vegas a GC Flight tour should be on your agenda. Everything from booking (I worked over the phone with Leslie who was also spectacular) to the hotel pickup and drop off were top notch.

This was an awesome experience! A helicopter tour over the Hoover dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon is an incredible way to see the area. The company was professional and reliable. Our pilot Austin was funny, experienced and very knowledgeable about both the aircraft and the surrounding area. Austin did his outmost to make the trip funny and pleasant for our 7-year-old who don't understand english. I highly recommend this company and especially our pilot Austin.

Schon bei der Abholung im luxuriösen Shuttle-Bus (nur 6 Sitzplätze mit jeder Menge Beinfreiheit) fühlten wir uns super versorgt und aufgehoben. Und der Flug selbst war einfach nur Klasse. Sehr erfahrener Pilot (ehem. Testpilot sowie Rettungsflieger) der den Heli stets ruhig hielt. Respekt!! Und die Aussicht während des Fluges und bei der Zwischenlandung war einfach nur spektakulär! Auch der Aufenthalt im Canyon selbst war entspannt und nicht wie befürchtet "touristisch durchgetaktet". Alles einfach nur top! Großes Lob, vielen Dank, macht weiter so!!

This was our first experience in a helicopter and it was fantastic. So much fun seeing the Grand Canyon and Hoover fam from the air. Our driver that picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off was Miko and he was funny, polite and a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone heading to Las Vegas.

Great experience for our whole family. Jimmy, our pilot, was excellent. Calmed some early nerves we had and gave us an experience we will talk about for years to come. He filled us with history and knowledge of the area , the hoover dam, and the Grand Canyon. Landing on the canyon floor was unreal. Absolutely phenomenal tour! I had never been in a helicopter before but our pilot put me at ease right away. Seeing the strip, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon all from the air was insanely cool!! Absolutely worth it.

From booking to actual flight, the entire experience was excellent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed. I on the other hand suffer from motion sickness, so would suggest that if you do, that you take meds (as recommended my a healthcare professional) prior to take off. I learned that lesson the hard way. The Skywalk was breathtaking, and the tour was just the perfect amount of time. Superb service and I would highly recommend.

An exceptional journey. We told the expiration for my 40th birthday and the ride into the Grand Canyon was amazing. Amazing staff and such a cool way to see the Grand Canyon from a different perspective. We flew out the approximate 45 minutes with the two of us in the front with the pilot and three other passengers in the back seat. Once you land the provide you with a little snack and champagne toast. I highly recommend this as a part of your next trip to Las Vegas.

This tour exceeded expectations on multiple levels. The information was so interesting, history/geography and Las Vegas history as well as the tribal land. We felt 110% safe every bit of the tour and it was just the right amount of time. Everyone should see the grand canyon from above like this - breathtaking! Mad Dog was the best tour guide, I highly recommend him!

My husband and I chose the sunset extended tour for our anniversary and I'm so happy that we had this experience. The pilot, Manny, was so nice and his jokes were funny. Manny was great with providing us with facts about the areas we were passing and making sure we were all ok. The gentleman who picked up and dropped us back off at the hotel was prompt and the van was super clean; this was a plus. I would 100% recommend GC Flight and do another tour the next time I'm in LV.
