Pilot & bus driver was very informative. It was a long day, but filled with laughter, and had a meal included in the trip. Something everyone should see. Amazing!!

While in Vegas you have to visit the Grand Canyon West Rim. This is not part of Grand Canyon National Park but rather it is run by the Hualapai Indian Nation. Spectacular views, helpful, knowledgeable people, native dancers, good food, and an experience you will never forget. Plus the Skywalk. A glass bridge that over hangs the Canyon. Remember these things, You can’t take pictures on the Skywalk. All your possessions (cameras, cell phone, back packs etc. must be locked up in a locker as you can’t take these out on the Skywalk for fear of scratching the glass. You are issued special slippers as you can’t wear your shoes. But its all worth it. Like the step of faith Indiana Jones took when he walked out on the invisible bridge, it takes a step of faith to walk out on what looks like AIR.. If you have vertigo or are afraid of heights you might want to re think it over. The cost of entry to the reservation is about $45, the Skywalk is $35. Best to fly from vegas otherwise its 2 hours ++ Ending is the greatest scene you will ever see. You can’t miss this once in a life time experience.Mich L

“Only wat to see the Canyon in one day.”
    Reviewed Febuary 5, 2014
This operation really has it’s act together. Departing from the Boulder City NV airport, the shuttle ride from your hotel was a little long but simply not a factor in our opinion. The hotel shuttle was on time to the minute. Once at their exclusive terminal, staff directs you through ever step of the process to get on your plane. the DeHavilland Twin Otter is the perfect aircraft for the mission. A high-wing turbo-prop with great short-field capabilities, it also offers spectacular views to all on board. A narrated flight points out all the features along the way. Flying over the canyon gives you a much better idea of how vast the canyon is, a gives you a view you simply cannot get from the rim. Flying over the Hoover Dam was a great bonus. Once on the ground, you take a bus to two locations where you have about an hour each for a visit. This is plenty of time to see the awesome views and get some great pictures. Our bus driver also served as a tour guide, and was just phenominal. He was very knowledgable about the canyon because he lives there. he also sounded like Larry the Cable Guy over the bus PA system and ended each speach with a ‘yee-haw!’ which made the tour much more enjoyable. Our trip back was every bit as good as the flight out, and we were returned to our hotel right on time. You cannot beat the experience for the price, worth a few exta bucks to not sit on a bus all day and to have such an awesome view. Simply the best way to see the Canyon. Serneity
